Join us on July the 12th at 6pm for a two-hour art Workshop Inspired by Frida Kahlo with Angharad Neal Williams, and let’s celebrate Frida’s amazing life.

Immerse yourself in creativity, connection, and artistic exploration in honour of Frida Kahlo’s, come along and celebrate her unique contribution to art, her celebration of indigenous Mexican culture, of feminism, individuality and as a cultural icon for feminism and the “Mexicanidad” movement.

With guidance from Angharad, you’ll create your own artwork either inspired by the vibrant colours, florals and imagery in Kahlo’s style.

Some artworks people may choose to create based on the inspiration provided could be:
• Fill your canvas with flowers inspired by Frida Kahlo’s works and/or day of the dead images,
• Paint a self portrait like Frida Kahlo’s with yourself surrounded by flowers and symbols that represent you,
• Paint from one of the photos you can see,
• Create an abstract artwork filled with day of the dead patterns and colours.

Enjoy light refreshments as you celebrate Frida, “Mexicanidad,” and individuality!

Please note that we need a minimum of 12 people to run this class and be able to pay our artist fairly for their time to facilitate the session, should we not reach this minimum within 2 weeks of the workshop date we will make contact with all ticket holders and offer either a refund or a credit towards another available workshop session.
