Enjoy light refreshments and nibblies as Debora guides you through a dynamic session that encourages experimentation with mixed media techniques. A local multi-disciplinary artist and ceramicist, Deb draws inspiration from the interplay of colour and texture in her work.

Debora’s artistic practice spans a wide range of mediums, including mixed media painting, ceramics, felting, soft sculpture, and pen-and-ink illustration. Her mixed media pieces blend ink, paper, crayon, pastel, and paint into vibrant, textured compositions. In ceramics, she crafts hand-built forms that combine tradition with contemporary design. Her felting and soft sculptures, made from natural fibers like boiled wool and silk, bring both animals and whimsical creatures to life.

Currently, Debora is experimenting with twining natural fibers like banana peel, agapanthus, papyrus stems, and even teabags—pushing the boundaries of conventional crafting to create sustainable and innovative art.
